Exploring the way of peace
WORKSHOPS
We offer in-person workshops for churches, leadership teams, and Christian communities who want to explore more deeply the questions at the heart of the Nonviolent Gospel Network.
Together we'll reflect on what it means to follow Jesus in the way of forgiveness, peacemaking, nonviolence, and love of enemy, creating space for honest conversation, theological reflection, and practical discipleship.
Every workshop is shaped around your community. Whether you're just beginning to explore these ideas or looking for a more in-depth theological conversation, we'll work with you to create something that meets you where you are.
What we'll explore
No two workshops are exactly the same, but together we might:
Discover the biblical vision of the nonviolent gospel.
Explore key passages of Scripture and what they reveal about the character of God.
Reflect on how our understanding of God shapes discipleship, relationships, and witness.
Engage honestly with the challenges of practising the way of peace today.
Consider practical ways of embodying forgiveness, reconciliation, and nonviolence within your own community.
Workshops are interactive and discussion-based. They're designed not simply to communicate ideas, but to create space for communities to wrestle with important questions together and discern how the way of Jesus might shape their life and practice.
Let's start the conversation
If you're interested in hosting a workshop, the first step is simply a conversation.
We'll arrange an initial call to learn about your church or community, answer any questions, and discuss what would be most helpful. From there, we can shape a workshop that fits your context and the people you'll be gathering.
We'd love to explore this with you.
