Rev. John Dear is an internationally recognised priest, activist, author, and leader in the peace and nonviolence movement. Formerly director of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, he has travelled to war zones worldwide, been arrested more than 85 times for nonviolent action, delivered thousands of peace lectures, and contributed to Pope Francis’ 2017 World Day of Peace message on nonviolence.
