Carlos M. Padilla

Carlos M. Padilla is a theologian, writer, and PhD student whose work explores Christology, election, grace, and the ways Christian theology can move beyond scapegoating. A graduate of St. Stephen’s University with an MA in Theology & Culture, his thinking has been particularly shaped by Karl Barth and T. F. Torrance, with a focus on how the faithfulness of Christ reshapes not only our understanding of God, but how we see and relate to one another.

He is the author of Roar: Walking in God’s Power with Apology and Rediscovering the Forgotten Man: The Election Without Scapegoats. His work seeks to recover a vision of grace in which belonging is not built through exclusion, and where the reconciling work of Christ opens up a more spacious and hopeful way of understanding both God and humanity.
